Preparing your flask for first use:

• Wash your soft flask with warm (not boiling hot) soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes that can damage the material.
• Initially, the flask may have a slight aftertaste – this is normal and will fade after a couple of uses.
• To expedite the break-in process and reduce aftertaste, you can dissolve ½ to 1 teaspoon of baking soda in water and leave it in the flask for a few hours.
• Ensure you wash and dry the flask thoroughly before its intended use.

Cleaning your flask:

• To maintain hygiene, clean your flask soon after use, as it’s easy to forget about it when tucked away in your bag, running belt, or vest.
• Wash both the body and the lid with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. We recommend drying with a clean tea towel right away to prevent any bacterial growth, although air drying is also an option.
• For a deeper clean, particularly if you’ve used the flask for drinks other than water, disassemble the mouthpiece/valve and wash and dry each part separately.

Note:
Regular cleaning will help maintain your flask and reduce any residual tastes from electrolytes or other flavoured drinks.
