Use your shaker with cold water.
Odours in protein shakers are due to bacteria build up (this happens with all protein shakers). Clean all parts of the shaker between uses. You can use boiling hot water to clean the cup but not the lid.
Unscrew whisk from lid for thorough cleaning.
