Ingredients
- 30g Roam Protein Powder
- 1 cup brewed chai tea, warm (I brew a pot of tea and enjoy a cup while I let the remainder cool. Don't blend the smoothie with boiling hot tea!)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your
choice) - 1 ripe banana
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
And if you have additional spices on hand:
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Pinch of ground cloves
Instructions
1. Brew a cup or pot of chai tea and let it cool slightly, but keep it warm.
2. In a blender, combine the warm chai tea, almond milk, banana, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, Roam Protein Powder, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, and ground cloves.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
4. Pour into a mug – sip and enjoy!
